All Hallows Eve 2010

Well, its Halloween again. More like 12 days till Halloween. LATER..... Hi, i'm back. I got some pictures!

Lake Powell Adventure

Okay. So, a few weeks ago we went on a trip to Lake Powell. Our first time to be exact!
This is the sign for the visitors center of Lake Powell Dam. Below is Jake climbing back on the tube after he had fallen off it.
Below is dad driving the boat. SUCH a beautiful place!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's cute Will, our little cutie in the family. Cool boat, huh?

And here is Rainbow Bridge, a cool rock formation. Now, the rest of the story doesn't have any pictures, but here it goes. *this story is true*

So, we were on the boat. very close to the dock, and a few minutes later, me and mom were off the boat and walking up the ramp. As soon as we were at the top, mom was saying "Now this can't be the right ramp..." Then we were all over the place searching for the right ramp. Then we went and got BACK on the boat because mom figured out that the right ramp was about a mile and a half away. As we drove over, it started raining and the water started to churn, and water was splashing over the front of the boat! We got let off and me and mom started running up. We found the car, and we got in. We drove back to the ramp as fast as we could, backed the car down and mom put it in PARK. Now, dad was driving over to the car with Will and Jake in the boat with him. Then mom said "Ben, grab that hook. We're gonna get that boat hooked up." WHAT?!?! Dad tried three times, but he couldn't do it because of the waves. Then dad yelled "Heather, move the car over a little!" Mom told me to get in the car, and we moved a little. Then, when I opened the door and I got out the water was up to my waist! "Ben, come get the hook! Hurry!" By this time it was dark and very windy. I grabbed the hook and after dad tried two times he got the boat on the trailer. But that wasn't the end. I still had to hook up the boat. I hooked the boat up with one hook, but mom gave me one more. "Hook this up to the same notch!" I hooked it up and me and mom got in the car and drove up the hill. Now here's the thing: I had NEVER hooked a boat onto a trailer before, so I had no experience. Until now. And I still did it.

ANYWAY,...... We went to the Utah State Fair, and i won SECOND PLACE on my totally AWESOME painting. AND i won ten dollars!!!!!!

Lego harry potter

Hey, you guys! I just wanted to let you know we got something VERY cool! You guessed it!

LEGO HARRY POTTER! So, over the past few days, we have been playing all the levels. Just so you know it's not years 1-7..... it's only years 1-4. Sorry to disappoint you if i did. It just came to me while i was typing this. So, just like Lego Indiana jones 2: the adventure continues, you can create levels. But you have to pass a few levels of year 4. then head to Diagon Alley and head to Gringotts. BYE!!!!!!!!!

carnival craze

Hey! I just wanted to show you the most reacent year we went to "the carnival"- 2010. this is us walking to the carnival on thursday, July 1st at around 6:30 p.m.
this is my favorite ride, Gee Wizz. I love this ride and would ride it all my life for a billion dollars, all you billionairs.

The Smithsonian: 1st visit!

Why, hello! You all know that this post focusses on the Smithsonian, eh? Well, it also focusses on our STAY in D.C.! There are some trees outback and our first day we went exploring in those woods.
Now, me, Will and Jake had walking sticks. We didn't want to leave them in a random place so we put them on a tree and I sketched a picture of them so we wouldn't forget where they were.

Ok, lets get the "2095"stuff outta here! So I want to be an author while i'm still alive. I've been writing books since I was 3 and i've loved it. This is a picture of me reading with a funny look.
Me trying to write like Greg Heffley. (check out diary of a wimpy kid 4, it is called Dog Days!) It is VERY hard! Wanna try? Get a thin sharpie and a diary of a wimpy kid book. (and a piece of paper) Then start copying a picture from the book you have.(1,2,3 or 4 or any other) Do it over and over til its easy. Then do a harder one.

Helicopter visit

Look! It's us in the helacopter! Ha,ha,ha! It's actually us in our van. That day we went to see 2 navy helicopters! It's a GOOD thing that these missles aren't loaded!

hamster life and death

I know, it was sad to see them d--wow. Wait, you need to know what i'm talking about!

It all started when we got BERRY AND LIGHTNING SPEED. One day I got home from swimming scouts and jake and will were messing with them. That night me and my dad saw a terrible thing.
Aren't they cute?

I think if you have a hamster, this is GOOD edvice for you!

Ok, back to the story. So what we found that was so terrible was that one of the hamsters was in its ball, wet, and worst of all it was dead. It was Lightning Speed who was dead. We made a grave for him that is up in this picture. I was so sad when I got the first glimpse of him that I ran to my room and cried. We had a funeral for him a while later. We invited our neighborhood friends. Berry died a few days after from a broken leg and a hurt eye. So please give good comments after you finish reading this.
